Brian Snow is a Vice President – Senior Credit Officer at Moody’s in London. He is a lead analyst covering various issuers of CMBS across all European jurisdictions and property types. Furthermore, he is responsible for performing surveillance on a portfolio of CMBS transactions with exposure to a wide spectrum of borrowers, countries, and property types. He is also involved in the implementation of various ESG initiatives that are essential to our credit analysis.  Brian regularly speaks on industry panels and participates in industry groups such as CREFC Europe and the Investment Property Forum (IPF).       

Prior to joining Moody’s EMEA CMBS team in 2021, Brian was a credit ratings analyst with a combined 15 years of experience at Moody’s (New York), DBRS/Morningstar, and Standard & Poor’s. He previously had stints in banking at GE Capital, Bank of Nova Scotia and ABN Amro. Prior to working in finance, Brian was a civil/environmental engineer working on the design, planning and permitting of new land developments and conducting technical due diligence on commercial property in North America.    

Brian holds a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from the University of Vermont and a master’s degree in finance from New York University Stern School of Business. He is also a CFA Charterholder.
