Margot is responsible for real estate loan syndications in Europe, assessing new underwrite risk and managing and effecting the sell down process through the syndication of UK, Irish and some European loans to a diverse group of market participants, including UK, European, Asian and US bank and non-bank partners.

Margot and her team support the CRE European platform of Wells Fargo Bank and the Specialised Real Estate Finance Group in the US.

Prior to joining Wells Fargo in 2013 Margot was Head of Syndicated Debt Products UK at Eurohypo, where she had worked  since 2003.

Previously Margot has also spent time at Deutsche Bank with 3 years working on the loan syndications desk, responsible for distribution of project finance, corporate and leverage loans in the UK and Europe; 5 years in the project finance team at The Bank of Nova Scotia and corporate banking at NatWest for 2 years.

She has a degree in Banking and Finance from The University of North Wales, where she was sponsored by NatWest.
She is a member of the Investment Property Forum, Real Estate Balance, and the Association of Property Lenders.  She is a founder member of the  EMEA Wells Fargo Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Council.  She has also acted as Advisor and Ally to Wells Fargo’s EMEA Black Connections, Asian Connections and Women’s Connections  and is a member of, and mentor for, Women in Banking and Finance.   Margot was awarded Women in Banking and Finance’s Mentor of the Year 2022.
