Ranamit is a Senior Legal Counsel at HSBC in the Global Banking and Capital Markets division. He previously spent over a decade at Freshfields where he trained and practised in the Corporate Finance team, including secondments to CarVal and the Freshfields’ offices in Hong Kong and Washington DC. His practise covered a wide range of debt instruments and he regularly advised on event driven and/or special situations financings.
Ranamit holds a law degree from Warwick and was Called-to-the-Bar as a Jamieson scholar before being admitted by the Law Society. He is also a member of the International Future Leaders working group at ICMA.
