The DEI committee was formed in 2021 with a focus on promoting Diversity, Equity and Inclusion across the commercial real estate finance industry.
The Committee's principal areas of focus are to:
- Support the careers of professionals from under-represented groups in our industry, including developing suitable mentoring and networking schemes.
- Provide a forum for our member firms to compare notes and share experiences, making it easier for good practice to spread and mistakes not to be repeated.
- Help to attract a broader range of people from under-represented groups into our industry from schools and universities (including by collaborating with other relevant trade associations and initiatives).
Our DEI committee is supported by three subcommittees, each with a specific focus and with representation across a range of member firms:
